GREAT Idea, These Guys Are Doing Something Amazing Out Of Those Old Plastic SODA BOTTLES.
Interior walls out of earth filled bottles! Sounds Weird? Thousands of pieces of trash that would otherwise be clogging waterways and landfills have been turned into sturdy, and surprisingly attractive, construction materials. Many benefits, a strong load bearing wall, thermal mass, reduce heating and cooling bills. Reuses man-made renewal resources. And the bottles and dirt are free. It is actually safer and less expensive and saves a lot of trees.
I think this should be my next project and I can save some trees!
But, this would take a hell of a lot of bottles. Gotta start finding, saving and collecting them.
